Woven Wire Cloth and Wire Mesh Applications

Woven wire cloth (also referred to as woven or welded wire mesh) is utilized in so many different applications that it is difficult to identify a natural or man made product that is not associated in some way with wire cloth products.

Typically, most wire cloth applications may be separated into one of two distinct groups of usage, inclusion or exclusion.  In applications where "inclusion" (allowed to pass through) is the objective, the opening between wires must be slightly larger than the desired particle size.  In applications where "exclusion" (restricted from passing) is the objective, the opening between the wires must be smaller than the desired exclusion size.
